Rain, Rain GO AWAY

Ok now normally I would NOT complain about the rain, in fact I LOVE it. But today it is just CRAZY! There is a car (not mine) parked in front of my house and the rain is almost up to the doors on it. Vernon and the kids are loving it! The puddles are deep enough for JD to lay down and "swim" in them. Vernon has been on 2 walks with the dog (trying to get him to like water, I have the only Golden Retriever in the world who hates water) and we have only been up for 2 and 1/2 hours. Danica has come in twice soaked to the bone. As if I don't have enough laundry to do in the first place!!!! I on the other hand had this great plan that we would get the entire house clean, not just clean but deep cleaned this weekend. But everyone is so happy about the rain they are leaving me to do the work. GRRR! Anyone want to borrow my preggo belly for a while so I can move furniture and clean the litter box??? I also wanted to go to the commissary, knowing its payday weekend and going to be crazy, but hey I want to go get food for the next 2 weeks! Now I am not so sure I want to leave my house!
