Our Easter was short but a lot of fun and very relaxing. We left Friday night after Vernon got home to go up to my dads. They were so sweet and had the bed all made up for us and everything. Too bad the boys were so tired they were cranky and couldn't settle down to sleep. Kaden know being at grandpa and grandmas means LOTS of outside time and that is where he wanted to be even though it was pitch black outside. And he was in a foul mood to begin with He screamed the entire way there, it was so horrible I made Vernon pull over and get him some milk (risking car sickness) because I couldn't take it anymore! Anywho, it wasn't all crankiness even when Vernon woke up in a cranky mood ( Bubbles in a pink tube are the key to making him smile in case anyone wants to know)....The day got a whole lot better!!! Grandma made us yummy pancakes for breakfast. Then they brought down what the Easter bunny had brought for the kids. Then we played outside and took pictures of all the pretty flowers for awhile. After that it was time for finding the eggs, even Kaden managed to find a few! I was so happy he even showed a slight interest in it! After that it was YUMMY steaks on the grill and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert! Then it was time to get back on the road and head home so daddy could be at work by 6 am on Sunday, BOO for duty days! Even though it was a quick trip that had a few cranky moments it was an amazing relaxing get away! Thank you so much for having us up there Grandma and Grandpa! Now for the pictures...I know that's what you all wanted anyway. hehehe.
The boys had so much fun this is what they looked like the whole way home. I think I will do another blog for the pictures of the flowers Vernon took. This has too many pictures already. We missed JD and Danica so much and wish they could have been here. Cant wait to see them again!!! Love you all! ~Care

You are a lucky woman to have a hubby that will let you take pictures of him!
